Officially going to Seattle this month for my birthday! But not actually on my bday so I'm free to be with my amazing supportive fam. But anyway I was just thinking about what I might need for the rain, while maintaining some sense of style. Came up with just a few things:
+lovely double breasted trench in red
+black umbrella with a wooden U handle
+Hunter wellies (does anyone else think wellies are secretly cute? lol)
+"rain hat" (these things actually exist!) Though I'd probably want a black one
+Kérastase hair stuff. Magically fights against frizz due to rain and also static-head from all the water-resistant clothing and accessories.
+Nars waterproof mascara. This stuff doesn't budge, man.

HUNTER BOOTS. You MUST get a yellow pair also, I mean. THEY'RE YELLOW. I kind of want like a royal darkish green pair - I just randomly decided. BUT I've been obsessing over hunter/rain boots lately.

Hunter wellies are definitely cute! I had a pair but then I upgraded to a pair of Gucci ones instead. haha. I am such a label whore.

Woop woop! Birfday time! I've never been to Seattle...but if you need a guide for dressing in shitastic weather, I just might be your gal. Philadelphia has notoriously awful weather. Long, hellacious winters and 100% humidity in the summers. I would add a very thick pair of leggings (pants are rarely warm enough and wet pant legs are the absolute worst!) and a neutral-toned pashmina that works well to keep yo neck warm and doubles as a head/hair shield in sideways rain or unexpected down pour.
Kerastase FTW. Seriously, it's got me through some pretty shitty times.
