So I still have a lot of stuff to post about NYFW before the other ones begin (namely OOC SHOES AT PROENZA SCHOULER and some other fun images scattered around my desktop) but I thought I'd take a quick break in it and post some of the photos I snapped yesterday at Pike Place Market in Seattle. I'm pretty sure its super touristy but everything is so beautiful, the colors are so vibrant and the vendors have this infectious energy; plus its a fantastic place to get sterling silver toe rings (some of my fingers are too thin for conventionally sized rings lol) for $5 a pop.
The weather has been ridiculously beautiful since I got here... sunny and in the 50s is perfect for me. I didn't even need to bring my wellies or an umbrella (I do have a raincoat just in case hah). Forecast good. Off to check out the art museum and see if I can find some vintage gems around Capitol Hill and pick up some gifts for the fam back in Dallas (god knows there's nothing remotely unique in the land of corporate hell that city is).
xxxx!

Lucky weather! I live in Arkansas of all places and today is the first time I've seen the sun in about a month!
Everything in your pictures looks so fresh!

ooooh! i love stores. the colors and the smells...when it's fresh, anyway. i live in the hood. my market is dark and dingy and it kind of scares me to buy food there. so i buy it way up north, lol.
also, THE WOMAN WHO CHARGED YOUR CARD 1172 SHOULD BE STONED.
if i went to the store and that happened, my bank would cheerily have charged me overdraft fees. and probably some trumped up ones as well!
happy holidaying!
