birthdays deathdays

haze.

Its my birthday, its your deathday.

You can have it.

Your artistry, genius, and theatricality will be missed, not only in the fashion world but in your place in the art world in general. You were a source of inspiration in all senses of the word. Just last night I set you amongst Rauschenberg and Faulkner as someone whose creations and innovations made me feel real and alive, and excited to be so at that. I just hope you found whatever peace you were seeking.

RIP Lee Alexander McQueen.
